Kemeri Sunrise/Sunset tour in summer
Due to the geographical location, the days in Latvia are long in summer and short in winter. It means that the sunrise/sunset times vary very much depending on the season. The sunrise at the time of Summer solstice is around 4.30 am (pick up at 3 am). Waking up so early gives you a fantastic opportunity to get the most out of your holidays in Riga because you will be dropped off at your hotel by 8 am (depending on which tour you choose) for breakfast. While most of the guests will be just waking up, you will be having a coffee, looking at the photos and talking about the beautiful sunrise you experienced just a few hours ago.
If you do not want to wake up so early, you can book a Kemeri Sunset tour. During the day you can explore Riga and at 8 pm / 9 pm, you will be picked up from your hotel for the Kemeri Sunset tour. What a great way to end your day in Latvia!
Kemeri Sunrise/Sunset tour in winter
Winter is a perfect time to experience the sunrise because you do not need to wake up at 2 am / 3 am to make this happen. Around Christmas time, the sun rises at 9 am, so the pickup is at 7.15 am / 7.30 am. At that time of the year, the sunset is at 3.45 pm / 4 pm, so you can explore Jurmala city, Kemeri town before heading to the Great Kemeri bog to see the sunset. If you wish to visit Jurmala city and Kemeri town, inform us at the time of making a reservation so we can plan the start time of the tour accordingly to your preferences.
We keep the groups small (max 8 people in the group); If you are in a group of more than 8 people, we can offer only the private tour.
